Mr. Gold will be in on Monday. If you are filming, make sure you are respectful to others in the school and polite. Tomorrow I will be there to help you finish. You can use your Cell Phones or you can borrow my camera, just ask Mr. Gold, it is in the desk
Using the image below and your anatomy of a front page sheet, create YOUR front page. This can be done on paper or digitally. I have copies of this picture for you to include. BE CREATIVE. It does not have to be true. You will need to have each of the elements shown on the sheet (so you will need to create a name for your newspaper, and write at least the start of an article)

Online Living Notes--We will be adding to this during this week
After watching the film, tell me what surprised you about the information in this film. You can pick a surprise about tobacco or alcohol. Or, you can write about both topics. You should use formal English with beginning capitalization and ending punctuation in each sentence. The word "I" or "I'm" need to have a capital "I" in the word. "A Lot" is TWO words. Make sure to use the proper form of "Their," "There," and "They're." Your reflection should be 3-5 sentences in length.

I am very sorry I am not here today. My son is sick so I have to be home with him.
On Monday, whatever seat you select will become your assigned seat. Make sure you choose wisely and your seat selection is not one that will distract you or cause problem.
This week has been odd with snow days and 11th grade test bubbling and now my son being sick.
We are wrapping up Super Bowl and looking at the 5 concepts and questions today. Make sure by the end of the class period you have completed all your assignments in Classroom and turned them in so you do not start next week behind. If need be, you can work this weekend at home.
Assignment--Compose a new email to me (in the To line start typing Ferris and select ERIN FERRIS, .net or .org are both fine)
The subject line should be 2015 Super Bowl
Write a GOOD structured paragraph (4 sentences minimum) tell me what you thought of the 2015 Super Bowl Commercials
Be specific.
Things to consider: What did you like? What didn't you like? What do you remember? What do you wish you had saw?
Send the email and work on either of the last 2 assignments you did not finish. DO THE EMAIL FIRST before working on other work from this week.
If you finish early, work on something quietly. You must stay in your seat
